Ashley and Bell smash 10k run for charity

On Sunday, Ashley Peake, from the support team did a 10k race for Barnsley Hospice with his fiancé Bell.

The hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care for adults with a progressive life-limiting illness, and the people close to them. They strive to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief; practical, emotional, spiritual, and social support; counselling, and bereavement support services.

They proudly overachieved their fundraising goal by 25%! This is a great achievement as the money raised is vital to keeping the hospice available to those who need it.

Ash also proudly achieved a time of 47.28 and placed 218/1148. Huge well done to the pair of them!
